We see hummus all the time in the grocery store, but did you know how easy it is to make at home? Hummus is great as a dip or a spread on a sandwich. It is a plant-based protein and is cheap to make or buy. Try it as part of a meal or snack! It works really well on our homemade pita crisps
Set aside 1/4 cup of chickpeas for topping the hummus. Combine rest of the ingredients together in a food processor.
Mix hummus until smooth. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Serve with cut up vegetables or pita crisps.
