Make your own (better-for-you) chips! This recipe turns ordinary pitas or tortillas into a tasty companion for dips or salsa. These go great with our healthier loaded nachos or hummus!
Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C).
Cut each pita or tortilla into 8 wedges. If using pitas, peel each wedge apart so you have 16 wedges.
Place wedges on a baking sheet and drizzle or brush the triangles with 1 tablespoon oil. Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder.
Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until crisps are golden. Store in an airtight container.
