Did you know avocado is actually a fruit? It is one of the few fruits that is high in healthy fats. Avocado can be mashed and added to sandwiches, or made into a dip such as this guacamole. This will be your new dip of choice. Afraid your avocado will go bad? You can even buy frozen avocado and take out what you need. When storing leftover, drizzle with lemon juice, and press plastic wrap directly onto the flesh- use quickly as it will only last a couple days after being cut!
In a medium sized bowl, mash the avocado with a fork until smooth.
Add in the diced tomato, onion, cilantro, lime, and salt.
Adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve with quesadillas, nachos, or fresh vegetables as a dip!
