These Smoothie Bowls are definitely photo-worthy! They are quick and easy to prepare and you can add in so many delicious and nutritious ingredients. The fruit in this recipe adds sweetness along with minerals, vitamins, fibre and antioxidants.  Frozen or canned fruit is often cheaper than fresh in the winter months making this an easy recipe to enjoy all year round.  Decorate yours and snap a pic!

Directions

Step 1 

Add all ingredients to blender except for granola and fresh fruit

Step 2 

Blend on high until smooth, you may need to scrape down the sides as mixture will be very thick. If too thick to blend, add a few tablespoons of milk to the smoothie and re-blend.

Step 3 

Pour smoothie into a bowl. Decorate with your favourite toppings like granola and fresh fruit. You can also add unsweetened coconut, hemp hearts, or any other toppings.

Tips & Variations

  • Look for granola that has more than 4 grams of fibre and less than 8 grams of sugar per serving
