Banana Ghosts

These banana ghosts may be more cute than spooky, but it’s still a fun and easy way to get in the spirit of Halloween. They’re a sweet treat with a little extra protein from the yogurt, which makes for a satisfying afternoon snack!

Directions

Step 1 

Peel the bananas and cut in half. Place in a container and freeze until solid (about 2 to 4 hours or overnight).

Step 2 

Combine the yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla in a tall, narrow glass.

Step 3 

Remove the bananas from the freezer and dip into the yogurt mixture until covered. Place 2 chocolate chips at the top for the eyes.

Step 4 

Place the banana ghost back into the container in the freezer to harden (about 20 minutes).

Step 5 

Repeat with remaining bananas.

Tips & Variations

  • Store in the freezer. If the bananas are too hard when they come out of the freezer, let them sit at room temperature for about 5 to 10 minutes to soften before eating.
