Directions

Step 1 

Allow the frozen watermelon cubes to sit out for about 5 minutes to soften.

Step 2 

Add the watermelon, lime juice, ice, and water to a blender and blend on low to medium speed until the mixture is slushy. You may need to pulse and scrape down the sides as you blend. Add more water as necessary if too thick, and adjust sweetness to taste with maple syrup.

Step 3 

Serve with a sprig of mint and a lime wedge.

Tips & Variations

  • You can freeze cut up cubes of watermelon overnight, or buy pre-frozen watermelon cubes for this recipe.
