Looking for a burger variation? Try these delicious chicken burgers! Rolled oats add some extra fibre, and help the burger to stick together.
Preheat barbecue or electric grill to 400 degrees F. If using a frying pan, preheat after burgers are formed with 1 tablespoon of oil.
In a medium bowl, combine the ground chicken, sesame oil, green onions, salt, pepper, and rolled oats. Mix until well combined.
Form into 4 equal sized burgers for larger ones, or 6 for a smaller burger size.
Cook burgers for about 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until internal temperature registers 165 degrees F on an instant read thermometer.
Top burgers with the optional toppings listed, or your favourite toppings.
