Have you made N-Ice Cream before? It can be made in less than 10 minutes, and is a SUPER healthy dessert because it’s made ENTIRELY of fruit! This chocolate N-Ice cream is a delicious treat any time of year. 

Our favourite tip: when you have ripe bananas, peel them BEFORE freezing (trust us- it will make your life easier) and place in a container until ready to use in your favourite recipes!

Directions

Step 1 

Break up bananas into smaller pieces. Place in the food processor. Pulse to start breaking the bananas up. Add the almond butter, and cocoa powder, and process until the mixture starts to form a ball. You may need to add 1 tablespoon of milk or milk alternative to help it mix.

Step 2 

Scrape down the sides of the food processor as needed. Continue blending until the mixture starts to become creamy. This will take about 5 minutes.

Step 3 

Enjoy right away, or freeze for 1 or 2 hours to firm up slightly.

Step 4 

This ice cream is best enjoyed the day it is made. If left in the freezer it will freeze completely solid. You can re-blend the n-ice cream in the food processor if this happens. Wait a few minutes so it starts to soften before breaking it up and re-blending it.

Tips & Variations

  • The amount of popsicles will depend on the size of your popsicle mold

  • You can also make this recipe using a high powered blender.
